How long does delivery take?

We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours (Mon–Fri).

UK

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: 1-2 working days (£4.45 or free on UK orders over £50)
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: 2-3 working days (£3.55 or free on UK orders over £50)

Europe

  • Zone 1 & 2: 3-5 working days (£15)
  • Zone 3: 3-5 working days (£18)

You’ll receive an email with tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Please note: delivery may be delayed due to situations beyond our control, for example adverse weather conditions or increase in demand.

How can I track my order?

We will email you when your order has been dispatched with a tracking number to track your order.

Can I cancel or amend my order?

If you need to make a change to your order, like updating your shipping address, please email us at support@thelitatlas as soon as possible with your order number and a description of the changes needed.

However, we cannot guarantee that change requests can be accommodated especially if the order has been dispatched.

When will my pre-order item be delivered?

Estimated dispatch dates are mentioned on the product page. These dates may be subject to change. Should there be any delays, we will let you know.

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 working days, please email us at support@thelitatlas.com with your order number and we’ll look into it for you.

Will I have to pay extra charges when ordering from outside the UK?

If your delivery address is outside the UK, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or other customs fees when it arrives in your country. These charges are set by your local authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.

We recommend checking your country’s customs regulations before placing your order so you know what to expect.

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to the UK, Europe, Australia, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan and New Zeland. We are working on expanding globally. If you see that your country is not currently available for shipping, please send us a message and we will get you a shipping quote.

Do I need an account to place an order?

You don't need to create an account to shop with us. However, we'd recommend creating an account so you can view and easily track your orders.

Where will my order be sent from?

All orders are packed and sent from our warehouses in the UK.

Returns & Refunds

How can I return my order?

If you'd like to return an item, please email us at support@thelitatlas.com with your order number and reason for return within 7 working days of receiving your order.

Once your return request is approved, you'll have another 7 working days to send the item back to us. Please make sure the item is in its original condition just as you received it. Return postage is at the customer’s expense and we recommend using a tracked service to make sure your order gets back to us safely.

All returns are subject to our routine inspection. We will send you an email as soon as we've processed your refund.

Refunds will be automatically issued to the original payment method used to place the order. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to show in your bank account, depending on your payment provider.

Note that items that are damaged due to misuse or not returned in their original condition may not be eligible for a full refund.

Can I exchange my purchase for something else?

We do not offer exchanges. You can return unused items to us for a full refund (subject to our returns policy) and place a new order.

How do I prepare my return?

To prepare your return, pack the item(s) and simply attach the shipping label onto the front of the parcel.

Items must be returned unused and in their original condition. 

I no longer have my original packaging to return my item(s) in. What can I use instead?

We ask that you return your item(s) in the original packaging provided, including any bubble wrap or paper. If you do not have the original packaging to return your item(s) in, please use alternative suitable packaging and ensure that the items being returned are secured safely inside. Please note that any damage caused to the item(s) may result in delay and/or deductions when processing your refund.

What should I do if I have received a faulty or damaged item?

If you believe that you have received a faulty or damaged item, please email us at support@thelitatlas.com with your order number and details of the fault or damage. Please keep any images to support your claim.

Once we have received your query, our Customer Service team will be able to further assist you.

What should I do if I have received the wrong item?

If you believe you have received the wrong item in your order, please email us at support@thelitatlas as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue. We kindly as you to provide as much information as possible when getting in touch.

Will my duty charges be refunded on return?

Please note that the original delivery charges will not be included in your refund. If duties and taxes were paid at your delivery destination, The Lit Atlas is not responsible for or able to refund these charges. Please note that you may be able to claim these charges back by contacting your local Customs office.

Payments

Which payment methods do you accept?

Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners, JCB, Union Pay), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay

When will I be charged?

We will authorise your card at checkout, with payment being taken on the earliest of up to 5 days following the date of your order or once your order has been dispatched to you.

Please note: should your order be cancelled, we will immediately issue a refund. This can take up to 10 business days to show in your bank account.

When will I be charged for items I have pre-ordered?

Payment for your order will be processed either at the time of purchase or after 5 business days. For instant payment methods, such as PayPal, charges will be applied immediately. If your order is cancelled, we will process your refund right away.

Why might my payment be declined?

Payments may be declined at the point of purchase or after placing an order. If your order has been declined at checkout when placing an order, it may be due to insufficient funds or a block placed by your bank. In these instances, contact your card provider for further information about this transaction. We may also need to decline payment if your transaction has not cleared our security checks.

Can I redeem points for my purchases?

Not yet, we are working on a loyalty program in the backend where you can redeem points against orders you placed and apply them to your future orders. Stay tuned.

Pre-orders

Can I pre-order an item?

Yes, there are products available for pre-order on The Lit Atlas. These are indicated by the pre-order tag. The expected dispatch date will be displayed on the product page. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Can I combine pre-order items with other products at checkout?

Yes, you can. However, please note that items available for immediate dispatch will be shipped separately from pre-order items. You will only be charged once for delivery, and we'll provide tracking information for each shipment as it is sent.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes, you can cancel your pre-order at any time before dispatch. To request a cancellation, please email us at support@thelitatlas.com with your order number. If your order has already been shipped, our standard returns policy will apply.
